Located just ten minutes from downtown Honolulu, Oahu Country Club is one of Hawaii's first and most prestigious member-only golf clubs. Hidden behind the tranquil mists of Nu'uanu valley and beset on all sides with towering and majestic green mountain faces, the property upon which the Club sits, otherwise known as Waolani, or "heavenly wilderness," traces its history of ownership back to Hawaiian Royalty under King Kamehameha III. Approximately four-hundred feet above sea level, the Club offers members and guests alike breathtaking views of the Honolulu skyline and Pacific Ocean unlike any other.

At the turn of the twentieth century, the island of Oahu was home to only three golf courses: Moanalua Golf Club (est. 1898), the Haleiwa Hotel Course (est. 1899), and the Manoa Golf Club (est. 1904).

The Club offers an array of daily and special menu options for all occasions. Members can order pupus (appetizers) and relax in The Grille, which features a full-service bar, shuffleboard and TVs, or head next door to Anuenue for a simple but elegant al fresco experience.

  • Golf is the primary reason for joining Oahu Country Club, but it has proven to be so much more to our family. From the Sunday summer barbecues, the Christmas preview night dinners, the ballroom dance lessons and Zumba, and now watching our grandson participating in junior golf; OCC is truly a family club. Our biggest club event was our daughter Kellie's 2012 wedding, and the staff and chefs did everything to make it a perfect day and evening. The renovated clubhouse truly brings OCC to a whole new level, and we look forward to many more years of enjoyment for our family.

  • Joining OCC has been a life changing decision for me. After a long day of work, there is nothing better than to wind down with my fellow members. From the beautiful surroundings to the wonderful staff, the club provides a serene haven to play a few holes after work. My family and I are so excited to be apart of OCC as it welcomes modernization with the new weight room and dining pavilion while still maintaining its rich tradition. We are also excited to watch our daughter grow up in the fantastic junior golf program.

  • I am still in awe each time I turn left onto Country Club Road; stop at the Club's front gate & look up at the majestic beauty of "The Lady of Waolani Valley" whom I first met 35 years ago.   • I never thought I'd be a member at OCC. I always thought it a "Men's Only Club" and therefore taboo. It was my father, Bill Bow (a regular member), who encouraged me to join as a Social member, as I do not golf. I could not be happier that I applied and was accepted. OCC is far from a "Men's Only Club". The members and staff are some of the nicest, most welcoming people that I have had the honor of meeting. My family and I have a blast at the pool, enjoy the breathtaking views, and the wonderful food and beverages. OCC is truly a wonderful and welcoming club that I have the privilege of being a part of.
