Congratulations to Allysha Mae Mateo the 2021 Women’s Invitational Champion. Allysha fired a two over par final round score of 75 today under stormy conditions. Allysha finished with a 36-hole four under par 142 total, good for the wire-to-wire victory. Allysha will be a senior at BYU this Fall playing for the Cougar Golf Team.Madison Takai took second place with rounds of 71-78 good for a three over par 149 total. Kellie Yamane the defending champion was one shot back in third place with a 150 total.
Tomoko Ratzlaff took the “A Flight” with gross scores of 76-77 good for a 153 total. Mira Han was second with rounds of 80-77 for a 157 total.
Joan Wang captured the “B Flight” with a gross scores of 80-85 for a 165 total. Kyong Omura was second with a 170 total.
Jaye Gray took the “C Flight” with gross scores of 92-87 and a 179 total. Hyojie Lee was second with a 181 total.
Kelly Leger took the “D Flight” with gross scores of 99-91 good for a 190 total. Sooyun Han was second with a 191 total.
Anna Suh captured the “E Flight” with gross scores of93-130 and a 196 total. Teri Fujiwara was second with a 197 total.
This was the 43rd playing of the OCC Women’s Invitational which began in 1953.
A HUGE MAHALO goes out to PAULA TRASK the tournament chair for all her time and efforts in making this year’s event a major success. Paula’s tournament committee of NONI BIENFANG and CAROL FUJIE, all the volunteers and all donors, contributed to the success of this year’s event.
